{"id":3558,"date":"2009-02-22T13:56:52","date_gmt":"2009-02-22T12:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edmondmorrel.be\/?p=3558"},"modified":"2020-11-16T14:00:11","modified_gmt":"2020-11-16T13:00:11","slug":"proche-des-larmes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edmondmorrel.be\/?p=3558","title":{"rendered":"Proche des larmes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nul n\u2019est po\u00e8te en son pays<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab\u00a0Le parfum des jardins<br>La douceur d\u2019un animal<br>La Pavane de Ravel<br>Et quelques saveurs<br>Passent dans mon \u00e2me<br>Et vont se perdre ailleurs\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evoquant Jacques Mercier et paraphrasant le dicton, on pourrait \u00e9crire&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;Nul n\u2019est po\u00e8te en son pays&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/em><br>Au pays des m\u00e9dias, de la radio, de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, de l\u2019humour des semaines infernales aux fous rires de jeux t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s, le spectateur ou l\u2019auditeur serait bien \u00e9tonn\u00e9 de d\u00e9couvrir un autre Jacques Mercier que celui rieur et d\u00e9bonnaire qu\u2019il conna\u00eet.<br>Il serait surpris en ouvrant le dernier recueil de po\u00e8mes d\u2019un certain Jacques Mercier, \u00e0 la page intitul\u00e9e&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;Du m\u00eame auteur&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>&nbsp;de d\u00e9couvrir que celui-ci compte plus de 35 livres \u00e0 son actif\u2026.<br>Il hochera de la t\u00eate d\u2019un air convenu en lisant les titres des ouvrages consacr\u00e9s au chocolat ou \u00e0 la langue fran\u00e7aise\u2026Apr\u00e8s tout, notre homme qui se r\u00e9clame de l\u2019abstinence alcoolique n\u2019a jamais dissimul\u00e9 son go\u00fbt pour la f\u00e8ve de cacao. Apr\u00e8s tout notre homme se fait appeler Monsieur Dico et a si\u00e9g\u00e9 au tr\u00e8s docte et s\u00e9rieux Conseil de la Langue&nbsp;!<br>Le spectateur\/auditeur sera \u00e9tonn\u00e9 par contre de lire des titres aux consonances inattendues comme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2028-&nbsp;<em>Les mots changent de couleur,<\/em>&nbsp;(avec des illustrations du peintre Albert de Villeroux, \u00c9d. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pourtant, c\u2019est cela aussi la vibration de ce bateleur, son jardin secret, celui auquel, dor\u00e9navant, il nous invite de plus en plus souvent il est vrai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans l\u2019entretien qu\u2019il m\u2019avait accord\u00e9 pour mon \u00e9mission&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;Entre les lignes&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>&nbsp;\u00e0 l\u2019occasion du lancement de son dernier recueil, \u00ab&nbsp;Proche des larmes&nbsp;\u00bb (\u2028illustr\u00e9 par F.Van Dorpe,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/lesdejeunerssurlherbe.be\/pages\/livres\/mercier.htm\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Editions Les d\u00e9jeuners sur l\u2019herbe<\/a>&nbsp;, Jacques Mercier a enlev\u00e9 le masque rieur pour \u00e9voquer la po\u00e9sie, ce qu\u2019elle repr\u00e9sente pour lui, l\u2019attachement qu\u2019il \u00e9prouve \u00e0 la partager en public (avec la magnifique complicit\u00e9 musicale de&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nara-noian.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nara Noian<\/a>&nbsp;qui accompagne aussi parfois Julos Beaucarne).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cet homme de radio, ce baroudeur de l\u2019oralit\u00e9, ce microphage de toute \u00e9ternit\u00e9, lorsqu\u2019il parle de po\u00e9sie, se trouble&nbsp;: sa voix se casse, se brise, devient souffle, comme si \u00e9voquer la po\u00e9sie exige d\u2019aller puiser profond dans les r\u00e9servoirs du c\u0153ur&#8230;l\u00e0 o\u00f9 se lisent les mots qui se lient en vers&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Le parfum des jardins<br>La douceur d\u2019un animal<br>La Pavane de Ravel<br>Et quelques saveurs<br>Passent dans
