Une exp\u00e9rience hors-normes re\u00e7oit le \u00ab\u00a0label\u00a0\u00bb pen club Belgique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le sourire et la malice qui \u00e9clairent le visage de Dominique Laloux lorsqu\u2019il \u00e9voque le projet auquel il consacre tout son temps \u00ab\u00a0libre\u00a0\u00bb , \u00ab\u00a0Kuma si\u00a0\u00bb , dissimulent mal l\u2019\u00e9nergie et la volont\u00e9 que d\u00e9ploie ce cinquantenaire barbu que nous avons rencontr\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9cole internationale o\u00f9 il est enseignant. Son projet&nbsp;: cr\u00e9er dans la village de Kuma au Togo une classe informatique, l\u2019\u00e9quiper et assurer la formation des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et des formateurs. le mat\u00e9riel, Un ordinateur, de la taille d\u2019un paquet de cigarettes, con\u00e7u \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Cambridge par la start-up Raspberry, dont le prix de vente ne d\u00e9passe pas 40 \u20ac&nbsp;! Il n\u2019est pas meilleur avocat de cette initiative que Laloux . Je vous propose de tout arr\u00eater pendant 20 minutes et de l\u2019\u00e9couter&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parmi les possibilit\u00e9s \u00e9ducatives qu\u2019ouvre cette r\u00e9alisation, figure bien s\u00fbr l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux livres &#8211; documentaires, \u00e9ducatifs, litt\u00e9raires &#8211; qui sont accessibles dans les formats num\u00e9riques. N\u2019y a-t-il pas l\u00e0 un extraordinaire d\u00e9fi \u00e0 relever&nbsp;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Convaincu du potentiel de l\u2019initiative c\u00e9\u00e9e par Dominique Laloux,&nbsp;<strong>pen club Belgique<\/strong>&nbsp;a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de lui octroyer son soutien, en contribuant par ce \u00ab\u00a0label international\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 le faire conna\u00eetre et \u00e0 encourager la duplication du mod\u00e8le qu\u2019il repr\u00e9sente dans d\u2019autres communaut\u00e9s \u00e9ducatives, notamment en Afrique francophone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La d\u00e9marche de Dominique Laloux s\u2019inscrit parfaitement dans les priorit\u00e9s de PEN International en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab\u00a0Donner la parole aux jeunes a toujours fait partie int\u00e9grante du travail de PEN au cours des 90 ann\u00e9es d\u2019existence de l\u2019organisation. Nous esp\u00e9rons aussi mettre fin \u00e0 l\u2019isolement des 5 \u00e9coles locales en facilitant la collaboration avec d\u2019autres \u00e9coles au Togo et dans le monde.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nos objectifs sont les suivants&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>l\u2019installation d\u2019un Centre Informatique local offrant 2 salles informatiques \u00e9quip\u00e9es et un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019internet, r\u00e9parti dans 2 b\u00e2timents facilement accessibles aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves des 5 \u00e9coles&nbsp;;<br>la prise en main de la formation initiale de la trentaine d\u2019enseignants en vue de les rendre autonomes en mati\u00e8re de TIC&nbsp;;<br>l\u2019organisation de l\u2019entretien de l\u2019\u00e9quipement et de l\u2019infrastructure&nbsp;; et<br>la recherche de moyens permettant d\u2019assurer la continuit\u00e9 du projet dans le temps.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cl.cam.ac.uk\/projects\/raspberrypi\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sur le site de Raspberry<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UK registered charity (No. 1129409). The object of the charity is to further the advancement of education of adults and children, particularly in the field of computers, computer science and related subjects. The charity was founded in November 2008.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The challenge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Computer science is now a key problem solving tool in a broad range of industries and scientific disciplines. It is a rigorous academic discipline that is of great importance to everyone, not just those wanting to work in the computing industry. Just a little understanding provides access to a fantastic playground for young minds, where almost anything can be created and explored. Fundamentally, as with mathematics and other sciences, it enables us to understand the world around us in order to make informed decisions and innovate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Computer science describes how computers work, how they may be programmed and even helps determine how hard a problem will be to answer. This is in contrast to ICT or IT skills that teach how to use computers and their applications. Unfortunately, many young people are only ever exposed to ICT courses rather than the much broader, richer and exciting world of computing. The ability to write even simple programs is a powerful tool for helping to solve difficult problems or for just having fun&nbsp;! Of course, thinking like a computer scientist also means more than being able to program. Designing algorithms, using abstraction and decomposition to tackle large problems, selecting appropriate representations, learning how to build correct, robust and scalable systems are now key skills in the information age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Computing at School working group describe the challenges faced at school in this area. Prof. Simon Peyton-Jones also describes the challenges in a recent talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Raspberry Pi computer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our first project is a flexible low-cost computer. It provides an ideal environment for experimenting with programming and electronics. The computer has a credit-card sized footprint and consumes at most a few watts of power. It costs 22 pounds\/$35 for the Model-B (15 pounds\/$25 for Model-A).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Model-B went on sale on the 29th February 2012 (The Model-A in February 2013).
