Il nous raconte dans ce livre qui se lit comme un reportage d\u2019Albert Londres, deux ann\u00e9es de voyage et d\u2019enqu\u00eate sur l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s huit romans, Erik Orsenna est progressivement pass\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9criture documentaire, d\u2019exploration de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u2026Est-ce parce que le roman avait montr\u00e9 ses limites pour \u00e9voquer des sujets comme la mondialisation, l\u2019avenir de l\u2019humanit\u00e9\u2026&nbsp;? A partir de cette question, Erik Orsenna explique combien sont compl\u00e9mentaires les diff\u00e9rentes formes d\u2019\u00e9criture auxquelles il se consacre&nbsp;: le roman, le conte et le \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9cit de voyage\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La couverture du livre s\u2019illustre du tableau&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;Les eaux jaillissantes&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>&nbsp;d\u2019un peintre du XVIII\u00e8 Thomas Baines. Cette image id\u00e9alise l\u2019eau en abondance\u2026elle date du si\u00e8cle dernier\u2026elle est luxuriante, ensoleill\u00e9e, vivante&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et vient la lecture de ce livre est aussi un roman, il fait vibrer en tous cas les m\u00eames \u00e9motions, des \u00e9motions du m\u00eame ordre&nbsp;: le personnage, l\u2019eau, est un vrai personnage de roman, de romans au pluriel&nbsp;: un thriller, un roman d\u2019amour, un roman r\u00e9aliste, un roman d\u2019anticipation, un roman noir..
